“...My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every situation let your petitions [specific requests] be made known to God through prayers and requests, with thanksgiving. And then God’s peace, which goes far beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil. For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer. He is my God, my strong stone. In Him, I seek refuge. He is my shield, the horn of my salvation, my high tower, my way of escape, and the one who saved me from violence. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I was saved from my enemies."
Therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Be tolerant of one another and forgive each other if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, you must also forgive. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which ties everything together in perfect unity.
