Lois Digs Podcast Introduction
In this episode, I introduce a few things about myself and some of my hopes and goals. I'll speak on how I see the Bible, priests, prophets, faith, and miracles.
You'll also hear my view on who Jesus was, and what the word "Christ" really means.
"Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ" does not mean believing that his death paid for your sins. Believing on Jesus means believing the message he embodied and shared, a message that has been spoken and expressed through multiple people in multiple cultures across time. Imbibing and immersing oneself in this message can bring salvation, which is not a ticket to Heaven in the afterlife, but rather a process of inner healing and wholeness in the life we have now.
I'll also elaborate on the concept of chesed, a Hebrew word with no English equivalent.
I'll divulge the hidden reason for the fearlessness of Joan of Arc and I'll reveal what may well be the long-lost pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton, a personal name of the God of Israel.
Towards the end, I offer an interpretation of Gregorian calendar year 2020 in combination with Hebrew calendar year 5780 as marking the beginning of a different season in our world.
